As both a Registered Dietitian and trained dancer, I understand the unique physical and artistic demands of dance training and performance.
Having trained with the Royal Academy of Dance and completed a BA (Hons) in Dance, my background bridges the world of dance and clinical nutrition. This combination allows me to provide practical nutrition advice that is tailored specifically to the needs of dancers at every stage of their journey. I have worked with dancers since 2006 and wrote Nutrition for Dancers, published by Dance Books Ltd.
Over the past two decades, I have supported leading performing arts institutions, including London Studio Centre, The Northern School of Contemporary Dance, and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. I have also delivered lectures, workshops, conference presentations and educational programmes for organisations including One Dance UK and the National Institute of Dance Medicine and Science (NIDMS).
Whether you are a professional dancer, a student, a parent, a teacher, or part of a dance company, I am passionate about helping dancers fuel their performance, enhance recovery, reduce the risk of injury, and build a positive, healthy relationship with food.
My approach combines the latest nutrition science, enabling dancers to perform at their best while supporting their long-term health and career longevity.
Whether you're looking for individual nutrition support, workshops, educational programmes or consultancy for your organisation, I'd love to discuss how I can help.
